Oregon State University & University of Portland to Play at New Hillsboro Hops Ballpark

February 4, 2026 - Hillsboro, Ore. - It was announced today by the Hillsboro Hops that Oregon State University and the University of Portland will be playing a non-conference baseball game at the brand-new Hillsboro Hops Ballpark on May 5th. The matchup will be played as a University of Portland home game and will bring two historic Oregon college baseball programs to Hillsboro. Hillsboro Hops Announce 2026 Coaching Staff

January 23, 2026 - Hillsboro, Ore. - It was announced today by the Hillsboro Hops and Arizona Diamondbacks that Mark Reed will be returning as Hops' manager in 2026. Reed was a coach on the Hops' staff in 2024 and will be entering his third season in Hillsboro. Also returning to Hillsboro is hitting coach Jim Adduci who was with the team last season. New Hillsboro Hops Ballpark Reaches Substantial Completion Mark

December 23, 2025 - Hillsboro, Ore. - The Hillsboro Hops announced on Wednesday that the new Hops Ballpark has reached its substantial completion mark. In March of 2023 the Hops announced plans to build a new Ballpark that will meet all MLB standards. The team led by Mortenson Construction broke ground in August of 2024 and reached the substantial completion mark in December of 2025.
