Freight Opens 2026 IFL Season with Big Win over Quad City

March 14, 2026 - FISHERS- The Fishers Freight hosted the Quad City Steamwheelers on March 14 in the season opener for the IFL season. In the first nationally televised game, Fishers handed the Steamwheelers a 45-27 loss and started off the season strong. FIRST QUARTER Getting the ball first, Fishers got to work quickly with a touchdown by JT Stokes to give them a 7-0 lead, after Calum Sutherland's extra point kick was good. March 12, 2026 - FISHERS - The Fishers Freight will host the Quad City Steamwheelers on Saturday night to kick off the 2026 Indoor Football League season. Heading into their second season, the Freight look to improve upon their 7-9 inaugural season record. LAST TIME OUT The Freight faced the Quad City Steamwheelers on June 14, 2025 on the road. Freight Sign Wide Receiver Jaylen Green

February 25, 2026 - FISHERS - The Fishers Freight announced on Saturday that they have signed wide receiver Jaylen Green for the upcoming 2026 season. Green is a 6'0 wide receiver from Norcross, Georgia. He went to Delta State University, where in his senior year he played in ten games, recorded 621 yards, and scored nine touchdowns. In his junior year for the Statesmen, he played in all 12 games, made 28 catches, and scored 8 touchdowns. Freight Sign Defensive Lineman James Wright

February 25, 2026 - FISHERS- The Fishers Freight announced on Sunday that they have signed defensive lineman James Wright for the upcoming 2026 season. Wright, a Fayetteville, North Carolina native, played two years of varsity football at Cinco Ranch High School before collegiate stops at Bacone College and East Texas Baptist University, before landing at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for graduate school during the 2024 season.
