Barnstormers Announce 2026 Dance and Promo Team Tryouts

December 30, 2025 - DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have partnered with Pulse Dance Fitness Studio to host their annual dance and promo team tryout. The tryout will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Pulse Dance Fitness Studio in West Des Moines. Check-in and registration will open at 1:30 p.m. with the tryout beginning promptly at 2:00 p.m. A joint tryout will be held for both the Storm Chasers Dance Team and the Flight Line Cheer & Promo Team. Chambers Returns to Barnstormers

December 15, 2025 - DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman Tyrone Chambers to the 2026 roster, Head Coach Andre Coles announced today. Chambers (6-6, 340, Kentucky State) returns to the Iowa Barnstormers for the 2026 season. Collegiately, Chambers began his career at the University of Toledo as a defensive tackle before transferring to Kentucky State University where he saw both sides of the ball. Barnstormers Add to O-Line

December 4, 2025 - DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman Da'Shawn Allen to the 2026 roster, Head Coach Andre Coles announced today. Allen (6-3, 280, Ana Maria College) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first year with the team. Collegiately, Allen spent four seasons at Ana Maria College appearing in 23 games with the Amcats. December 3, 2025 - DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman Mclean Djouha to the 2026 roster, Head Coach Andre Coles announced today. Djouha (6-8, 340, IUP) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first year with the team. Collegiately, Djouha spent five years at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. During his time with the Crimson Hawks, Djouha appeared in 42 games on the offensive line earning All-PSAC West Second Team Honors in his final season of play.
