December 31, 2025 - DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wild overpowered the Texas Stars in a 4-1 victory at Casey's Center on Tuesday night. Riley Mercer turned aside 28 shots to win his third consecutive start to begin his AHL career. Texas outshot Iowa 11-7 in the first period. Gerry Mayhew broke through to open the scoring on the power play 8:15 into the middle frame. Spacek's Overtime Goal Powers Wild to 2-1 Win over Wolves

December 27, 2025 - DES MOINES, Iowa - Riley Mercer stopped 20-of-21 shots and David Spacek delivered the overtime winner 24 seconds into the extra session as the Iowa Wild defeated the Chicago Wolves 2-1 on Saturday night. Chicago opened the scoring 4:58 into the game when Skyler Brind'Amour slipped through the defense and chipped a shot past Mercer. Iowa tied the contest at 12:02 of the first period. December 20, 2025 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - Riley Mercer turned in a perfect performance in his AHL debut, stopping 26 Chicago Wolves shots and four of five shootout attempts to power the Iowa Wild to a 1-0 victory at Allstate Arena on Saturday night. Mercer stood on his head throughout the contest and made 25 saves in regulation. December 19, 2025 - DES MOINES, Iowa - The Grand Rapids Griffins continued a historic hot start to the 2025-26 season and defeated the Iowa Wild 6- 2 at Casey's Center on Friday night. The Griffins jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the opening minutes of the first period. Alex Doucet opened the scoring after forcing a turnover in the Iowa defensive zone 2:09 into the game and Chad Hillebrand doubled the advantage 41 seconds later.
