November 2, 2025 - DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wild survived a roller coaster third period against the Tucson Roadrunners and Liam Ã-hgren scored 2:24 into overtime in a 5- 4 win at Casey's Center on Sunday afternoon.
Julian Lutz beat Samuel Hlavaj (25 saves) under the crossbar 17:27 into the game to put Tucson on the scoreboard.
The Roadrunners carried a 1-0 lead into the first intermission. Iowa outshot Tucson 11-7 in the opening 20 minutes.

Tucson took a 1-0 lead 9:44 into the opening period when Ben McCartney beat Cal Petersen (18 saves) through traffic from the right point.
The Roadrunners outshot the Wild 11-5 in the first 20 minutes.
Sammy Walker doubled the advantage for Tucson at 4:25 of the middle frame with a wrister under the glove of Petersen from the right circle.
Each team posted 14 shots through two periods.

October 29, 2025 - DES MOINES, Iowa - Gerry Mayhew scored his second goal of the game to force overtime in the waning seconds on Tuesday night, but Grand Rapids earned the extra point as the Iowa Wild fell 4-3 in a shootout thriller.
Mayhew found the back of the net 9:56 into the contest with a power-play goal. After Oskar Olausson deflected Ben Gleason's shot in on Michal Postava (37 saves), Mayhew corralled the rebound and elevated the puck under the crossbar.

October 25, 2025 - Cedar Park, Texas - Riley Heidt and Hunter Haight scored to power the Iowa Wild to a 2-0 win and series sweep over the Texas Stars at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Saturday night. Cal Petersen stopped all 24 Texas shots to earn the shutout and his first win in an Iowa uniform.
