July 24, 2025 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club signed defender Mateja Djordjevic via a transfer from FK TSC Bačka Topola in Serbia. Djordjevic, 22, joins the Verde & Black on a deal guaranteed through the end of the 2028 season with an option for 2029. Djordjevic will occupy a U22 Initiative roster slot, meaning his salary will count against the Club's salary budget cap at a reduced rate. Austin FC Completes Season Sweep of LA Galaxy with 2-1 Road Win

July 17, 2025 - Carson, CALIFORNIA - Austin FC claimed a 2-1 away victory over LA Galaxy on Wednesday night, fueled by a goal and an assist from forward Myrto Uzuni. Austin grabbed the lead late in the first half. The team quickly dissected the Galaxy defense with two (2) direct forward passes to find Uzuni, who controlled the ball well at the edge of the area and unleashed an accurate strike to the bottom left corner. Brandon Vazquez to Undergo Season-Ending Surgery

July 10, 2025 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that forward Brandon Vazquez will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee. Vazquez sustained the injury in the team's match vs. San Jose Earthquakes on Tuesday night.
