Austin FC Acquires General Allocation Money in Trade with Real Salt Lake

February 3, 2026 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club has agreed to trade a 2026 international roster slot to Real Salt Lake in exchange for $235,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM). As part of the agreement, the international roster slot will return to Austin at the opening of the Secondary Transfer Window (July 13). Austin FC Exercises Contract Buyout on Jáder Obrian

January 27, 2026 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced on Tuesday that the Club has waived and exercised a Buyout of a Guaranteed Contract on winger Jáder Obrian. Obrian will no longer occupy senior and international roster spots, and his previous wages will not count against the Club's 2026 salary budget. Austin FC Adds Facundo Torres as Designated Player

January 23, 2026 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club acquired Uruguayan international winger Facundo Torres via a transfer from Brazilian side Palmeiras. Torres joins the Verde & Black as a Designated Player on a deal guaranteed through the 2029-30 season with an option for 2030-31. "I couldn't be happier to be an Austin FC player," said Torres. Austin FC, Jon Gallagher Agree to Contract Extension

January 14, 2026 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club agreed to a contract extension with defender Jon Gallagher. Gallagher's new contract is guaranteed through the 2027-28 season with an option for 2028-29.
