Texas Stars Loan Defenseman Tommy Bergsland to Idaho Steelheads

March 6, 2026 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today the club loaned defenseman Tommy Bergsland to the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads. Bergsland, 24, had six points (1-5- 6) in 34 games for the Stars and scored his first AHL goal in a 5-2 win at Milwaukee on Feb. 20. The rookie defenseman originally joined Texas on an amateur tryout last March and played six regular season games and five playoff contests. Dallas Stars Loan Forward Arttu Hyry to Texas Stars

March 5, 2026 - FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today the club loaned forward Arttu Hyry to the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League. Hyry, 24, has appeared in four games for Dallas since he was called up Feb. 25 and he has nine shots on goal and a +1 rating. He also says 17 points (7-10- 17) in 26 games for this season and currently has a three-game AHL point streak. Stars Power Past Gulls in Overtime

February 28, 2026 - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, outlasted the San Diego Gulls 6-5 in overtime after the teams traded leads all Saturday night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. San Diego earned an early lead when Sam Colangelo scored a power play goal on a sharp angle shot from the left face-off circle two minutes into the first period.
