Moose Roar Back With 35th Win in 6-1 Rout
April 18, 2026 - The Manitoba Moose (35-29-5-3) scored their 35th win of the season by claiming a 6-1 victory over the Iowa Wild (27-36-6-3) at Casey's Center on Friday night. They were coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Wild on Friday.
Both Domenic DiVincentiis and Chase Wutzke held the opposing offences largely at bay in the first, with the game's first goal needing nearly 19 minutes to finally happen. Moose Announce Schedule for 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs First Round
April 18, 2026 - WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club, in conjunction with the Milwaukee Admirals and American Hockey League, announced the schedule for their 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs Central Division First Round series.
The Moose host the Admirals for the entirety of the best-of-three First Round series at Canada Life Centre beginning on Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. CT. Game 2 of the series is slated for Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m. CT.

Blue Bombers Sign Quarterback Taylor Elgersma
April 16, 2026 - WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed Canadian quarterback Taylor Elgersma.
Elgersma (6-5, 227, Wilfrid Laurier University; born: March 27, 2002, in London, Ont.) joins the club after being selected in the second round, 18th overall, of the 2025 CFL Canadian Draft.
He was most recently with the Birmingham Stallions of the UFL but did not see any action due to work visa issues.
