Bats Quiet in Loss to Sioux Falls

July 27, 2024 - SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Canaries (38-27) defeated the Winnipeg Goldeyes 3-1 at Sioux Falls Stadium Friday evening. The Canaries jumped out to a 2-0 first inning lead. First, shortstop Jordan Barth singled to left-centre field to bring home third baseman Liam Spence. Barth then scored on a Jabari Henry fielder's choice. Canaries Edge Goldeyes in Ten Innings

July 26, 2024 - SIOUX FALLS, SD - Jordan Barth's tenth inning single gave the Sioux Falls Canaries (37-27) a 3-2 victory over the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Sioux Falls Stadium Thursday evening. Two streaks were snapped as a result, as the Canaries had dropped six consecutive games and the Goldeyes were winners of six straight. Matulovich Named Pitcher of the Week...Again

July 22, 2024 - WINNIPEG, MB - For the second time this season, Winnipeg Goldeyes ace Joey Matulovich has been named American Association Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday. He previously won the award June 10 and was also honoured as the Rawlings Pitcher of the Month for June. The 27-year-old made two spectacular starts last week, working seven scoreless innings in both, and giving up a paltry total of three hits.
