Sam Lynn Ballpark Renovations Underway

January 15, 2025 - The Oldest Ballpark in California is in process of renovations.. On January 15th the most visible of the renovations started with painting of the outfield fence. The fences date backs to the Bakersfield Dodgers Era and this has been preserved with a fresh coat of Dodger Blue Paint. The entire stadium will be painted and the parking lot was recently completed resurfaced. The playing surface is being addressed as well as the batter's eye in Centerfield. Bakersfield Train Robbers Release Their 2025 Schedule

January 12, 2025 - 2025 will mark the 8th year of Pecos League Baseball in Sam Lynn Ballpark. The Train Robbers remain in the six team all California Pacific Division of the Pecos League with all of the familiar teams.Monterey Amberjacks, Vallejo Seaweed, San Rafael Pacifics, Martinez Sturgeon and Dublin Leprechauns. Bill Rogan to Manage the Bakersfield Train Robbers for the 2025 Season

November 27, 2024 - After managing the Marysville Drakes the past two years, including a trip to the playoffs last season, Bill Rogan has been named the new manager of the Bakersfield Train Robbers. Rogan has previously managed the Tucson Saguaros (2019) and the Santa Fe Fuego (2021/2022). He replaces Relly Mercurio who piloted the Train Robbers for the past four seasons.
