August 30, 2024 - SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today a three-team trade between Salt Lake City, Motor City Cruise and the Austin Spurs, with the Stars sending guard Isaiah Miller to the Spurs in exchange for Austin's 2025 first round draft pick and the returning player rights of Jayce Johnson. Stars Host Annual Local Player Tryouts on October 5

August 22, 2024 - SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, will host their annual open tryout for prospective players on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Salt Lake Community College's Lifetime Activities Center. The open tryout, which is presented by University of Utah Health, offers prospective players an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Stars and Utah Jazz basketball executives while competing to earn an invitation to the NBA G League team's training camp in October. Stars Name Katie Benzan Assistant General Manager

June 7, 2024 - SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today the appointment of Katie Benzan as the team's Assistant General Manager and Jazz Coordinator of Pro Scouting, ahead of the 2024-25 season. Benzan, a former collegiate and WNBA basketball player, served as a Basketball Generalist in the Utah Jazz front office over the last two seasons (2022-24). Three Salt Lake City Stars Players Receive All-NBA G League Honors

April 19, 2024 - SALT LAKE CITY - The NBA G League announced Thursday that Utah Jazz assignment players Kenneth Lofton Jr. and Darius Bazley, along with Jazz Two-Way guard Jason Preston, have received All-NBA G League honors. Lofton Jr. and Preston were selected to the 2024 All-NBA G League First Team, while Bazley received NBA G League All-Defensive Team and All-NBA G League Second Team honors.
