October 24, 2025 - EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that the team has acquired the returning player rights to Garrett Denbow from the Texas Legends. In exchange, RGV has agreed to trade the returning player rights to Joel Mantynen. This trade is not subject to a physical. October 14, 2025 - EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G league affiliate of the Houston Rockets, announced a four-team trade with the Greensboro Swarm, Rip City Remix and Mexico City Capitanes. The Vipers have agreed to trade the returning player rights to Jermaine Samuels Jr. to the Greensboro Swarm, a 2026 NBA G League International Draft pick to Mexico City and a 2026 NBA G League Draft first-round pick to the Remix via Osceola. October 2, 2025 - EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that the team has acquired a 2026 NBA G League Draft first-round pick from the Noblesville Boom. In exchange, RGV has agreed to trade the returning players right to Ray Spalding to the Boom. This trade is not subject to a physical. August 31, 2025 - EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G league affiliate of the Houston Rockets, have announced Joseph Blair as Head Coach of the NBA G League United team which will represent the G League at the 2025 FIBA Intercontinental Cup in Singapore from Sept. 18 through the 21 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
