April 7, 2026 - EDINBURG, Texas - The NBA G League announced today that Houston Rockets Two-Way player Tristen Newton and Daishen Nix have been named to the All-NBA G League First and Third Teams, respectively. Newton finished the 2025-26 season with 49 games played between the Vipers and Wolves during the Tip-Off Tournament and the Regular Season. April 3, 2026 - EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (1-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, fell 112-97 to the South Bay Lakers (2-0) at UCLA Health Training Center during the Western Conference Semifinals of the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google. Vipers Advance to Conference Semifinals

April 1, 2026 - EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (1-0), the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, defeated the Austin Spurs (0-1) 117-106 on Tuesday night during the Western Conference Quarterfinals of the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google at Bert Ogden Arena.
