Maine Celtics Select Two in NBA G League Draft, Announce Training Camp Roster

October 25, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics today announced the team has acquired two players in today's NBA G League Draft, rounding out their training camp roster for the 2025-26 NBA G League season. Maine selected Vance Jackson in the Second Round (41st overall). The Celtics followed that up by taking Nicolas Timberlake with the 54th overall selection. After the conclusion of the draft, Maine completed a trade with the Motor City Cruise, acquiring Stefan Todorovic, who was selected 7th overall in the First Round of today's draft.... Full Story

Maine Celtics Announc 2025-26 Season Schedule

September 2, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics today announced their schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 NBA G League season. The Celtics begin their quest for a third consecutive Eastern Conference Finals appearance on Friday, Nov. 7 at Greensboro. After two more road games, the Celtics return to the Portland Expo for their home opener against Long Island on Friday, Nov. 14, opening a four-game homestand with a 7:00 p.m. tipoff. Phil Pressey to Lead Maine Celtics in 2025-26

July 2, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics announced today the hiring of Phil Pressey as Head Coach for the upcoming 2025-26 NBA G League season. Pressey becomes the first head coach in franchise history to also play for Maine during his career. The former NBA guard played at the Portland Expo while on assignment from the Boston Celtics during the 2014-15 season. JD Davison Named to All-NBA G League First Team

April 17, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The NBA G League announced today that Maine Celtics guard and league MVP JD Davison has been named to the All-NBA G League First Team. Davison becomes just the second player in franchise history to be named First Team All-G League, joining Tim Frazier (2014-15).
