March 29, 2026 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, used a five-goal second period to complete a weekend sweep of the Greensboro Gargoyles on Sunday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Arena. Combined with the Trois-Rivieres Lions loss to Wichita, the Mariners officially clinched a spot in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. March 29, 2026 - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, can clinch a berth to the Kelly Cup Playoffs on Sunday, as they enter the day with a "Magic Number" of three. A Mariners win over Greensboro combined with a Trois-Rivieres Lions loss at Wichita or a Mariners overtime/shootout loss combined with a Lions regulation loss will officially lock up a Maine playoff spot. Andreev Nets Two More as Mariners Hold off Greensboro

March 28, 2026 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, defeated the Greensboro Gargoyles, 3-2 in their inaugural meeting on Saturday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Arena. Max Andreev continued to lead the Mariners offense, scoring two more goals and extending his personal goal streak to four games. Mariners Add USports Leading Scorers Ben Allison

March 26, 2026 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, announced on Thursday that they've signed forward Ben Allison. Coming out of St. Mary's University, Allison led all USports players in scoring this past season. Allison, 23, is from Halifax, NS and played his junior hockey in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.
