Nailers Force Game Seven with Overtime Win

May 16, 2026 - WHEELING, WV 6 - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, fell 2-1 in overtime to the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday night at WesBanco Arena, setting up a Game 7 of the North Division Finals. Nailers defenseman Emil Pieniemi scored the game-winner on the power play at 17:00 of sudden death. Maine Mariners Announce 2026-27 Schedule

May 14, 2026 - PORTLAND, ME - In conjunction with the ECHL, the Maine Mariners released their schedule for the 2026-27 season on Thursday. The Mariners will open their eighth ECHL campaign on Saturday, October 17th at Worcester. May 13, 2026 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, won their third home game in as many days, 5-3 over the Wheeling Nailers on Wednesday night at the Cross Insurance Arena, taking a 3-2 series lead in the North Division Finals. Hudson's Double Overtime Winner Evens up North Division Finals

May 13, 2026 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, evened up the North Division Finals with a 2-1 win in double overtime on Tuesday night at the Cross Insurance Arena. Jacob Hudson scored the game-winner at 8:06 of the second overtime, ending the longest game in Mariners history.
