December 24, 2025 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce the 112th Grey Cup's Most Valuable Canadian, Samuel Emilus, has signed a two-year contract extension. Emilus (6'0-200) re-ups with the Roughriders after a commanding Grey Cup performance that helped his team seal the fifth championship in Club history. The Montreal native went 10-for-10 for 108 yards, the highest totals for a Roughrider in a Grey Cup game in Club history. Building the Trenches: Sanders Extends with Roughriders

December 22, 2025 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive lineman Caleb Sanders to a contract extension. Sanders (6'1-287) returns to the Roughriders for 2026, after appearing in 30 games over three seasons and tallying 26 defensive tackles, five sacks, and one forced fumble. The 25-year-old defensive tackle has been a disruptive presence along the team's defensive line, earning a career high in defensive tackles (13) in 2025, including one tackle for loss, along with one special teams tackle and two sacks in 16 game... Roughriders 1st round 2025 Global Draft Selection Sylvain Yondjouen Returns

December 22, 2025 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Global defensive lineman Sylvain Yondjouen. Yondjouen (6'4-260) returns to the Green and White after he was signed to the Club's practice roster in August. He was selected by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the first round, sixth overall, of the 2025 Global Draft. The native of Ruisbroek, Belgium spent six collegiate seasons (2019-2024) at Georgia Tech, appearing in 52 games with 13 starts. Homegrown Talent Jaxon Ford Signs Extension

December 18, 2025 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed National defensive back Jaxon Ford to a contract extension. Ford (6'0-210) was selected by the Roughriders in the second round, 11th overall, of the 2023 CFL Draft. The 25-year-old Regina native has appeared in 31 regular season games as a Roughrider, making four starts at safety, and has registered 19 defensive tackles.
