Riders Sign Former Detroit Lions DB Jerry Jacobs

February 26, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back Jerry Jacobs. Jacobs (5'11-203) signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and went on to appear in 40 games, making 29 starts, over three seasons (2021-23). He recorded 131 defensive tackles, including nine for loss, along with one sack, three quarterback hits, four interceptions and one forced fumble. Riders Ink Auburn Punter Oscar Chapman

February 23, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Global punter Oscar Chapman. Chapman (6'3-211) played five collegiate seasons (2020-24) with the Auburn Tigers, appearing in 59 games. He recorded 243 punts for 10,573 yards, averaging 43.5 yards per kick, with a career-long of 71 yards. Eighty-one of his punts (33%) were placed inside the 20-yard line. Roughriders Launch Season Ticket Member Lottery for 2026 Coors Light® Tailgate Passes

February 23, 2026 - With the 2026 season on the horizon, Roughrider fans will soon have a new way to elevate their game day experience - tailgating at Mosaic Stadium. Over the past several months, the Club has worked closely with the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) to introduce a designated tailgating area on REAL District grounds near Mosaic Stadium.
