February 13, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American offensive lineman Jaison Williams. Williams (6'4-320) signed with the New York Giants following the 2025 NFL Draft and attended training camp with the club. He spent six collegiate seasons (2019-24) at Youngstown State, making 52 starts, including seven as a redshirt freshman in 2019. As a senior in 2024, Williams started all 12 games at right tackle and graded as the program's top offensive lineman, allowing just one sack while posting a 98% pass protection efficiency ... February 13, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive backJames Burgess Jr. Burgess Jr.(6'3-190) signed with the NFL's New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2025. Burgess Jr. spent four collegiate seasons (2021-24) at Alabama State, finishing his senior year with four interceptions while playing cornerback. Riders Sign Former Rams Running Back Darrell Henderson Jr.

February 13, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American running back Darrell Henderson Jr. Henderson Jr. was selected in the third round (70th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent five seasons with the Rams (2019-23), appearing in 54 games with 32 starts. The Mississippi native totaled 1,854 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 442 carries, adding 76 receptions for 577 yards and four scores. February 10, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Global linebacker Tyron Vrede. Vrede (6'0-230) spent the previous five seasons with the Ottawa REDBLACKS, after being selected by the Club in the second round, 10th overall, of the 2021 CFL Global Draft. Consistent in his play on both defence and special teams, the Norwegian has appeared in 55 regular season games and registered 41 defensive tackles, 35 special teams tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.
