Lions Add Quarterback Austin Apodaca

March 19, 2019 - (Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that quarterback Austin Apodaca has signed with the team. Apodaca (6'2", 210) dressed in four games with the Montreal Alouettes last season as the team's third pivot and also attended training camp with Winnipeg in 2017. The Colorado native wrapped-up his college playing days in 2016 with a two-year stint at the University of New Mexico seeing action in 21 games and throwing for 1,377 yards along with eight touchdowns on 207 attempts with 110 completions. Lions Ink Four Including DL Darius Allen

March 14, 2019 - (Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that international defensive lineman Darius Allen has signed with the team along with DL Davond Dade, WR Joey Augustin and DB Marloshawn Franklin. Allen (6'3", 240) was originally signed by BC in 2016 and appeared in 11 games for the Leos that season recording four defensive stops and another four on special teams. March 8, 2019 - (Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that international defensive linemen Vantrel McMillan, Sha-Ki Holines, Mat Boesen and Lance McDowdell have been signed by the team. McMillan (6'4", 240) appeared in four games with the Montreal Alouettes last season notching four tackles and a sack. The Tennessee-Chattanooga grad was an All-Southern Conference second team selection as a senior in 2016 after recording 35 tackles and seven sacks. Travis Lulay Officially Announces Retirement

February 28, 2019 - (Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that quarterback Travis Lulay has retired from professional football. Travis Lulay media availability: BC Lions practice facility - 11:30 am Lulay, a 10-year CFL veteran, spent his entire career with the Lions and sits third all-time among franchise quarterbacks with 21,252 passing yards on 1,658 completions with 127 touchdowns.
