October 30, 2025 - (Vancouver) - The Canadian Football League unveiled its award nominees for the Western and Eastern Divisions on Thursday, with two key BC Lions emerging as finalists for three total honours:
Nathan Rourke- George Reed Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Canadian.
Mathieu Betts- Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, November 13, as part of festivities for the 112th Grey Cup in Winnipeg.

October 29, 2025 - (Vancouver) - The Canadian Football League announced today that six members of the BC Lions were named to the West Division All-CFL Team for 2025: quarterback Nathan Rourke, receivers Keon Hatcher Sr. and Justin McInnis, offensive tackle Jarell Broxton, defensive end Mathieu Betts and kicker Sean Whyte.
Rourke (1st career selection)- along with setting a new single-season Canadian passing record of 5,290 yards, the Canadian pivot led the CFL with a passer efficiency rating of 112.7.

Adam Auclair earned the top special teams performer, while returner Seven McGee, defensive back Jackson Findlay and wide receiver Keon Hatcher Sr. were all recognized by the CFL as the top performers at their respective positions.
The grades are powered by Pro Football Focus (PFF).

October 28, 2025 - (Vancouver) - With ticket sales moving fast in our quest to PACK THE DOME for Saturday's Western Semi-Final, the BC Lions announced that upper bowl seating is OPEN at Save-On-Foods Field at BC Place.
Kickoff is 2:30 pm against the Calgary Stampeders.
The football club is also excited to welcome our great fans from Vancouver Island. In partnership with BC Ferries and Wilson's Transportation Ltd., the Lions also announced the return of our Island Express bus package.
