March 2, 2026 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Rise FC announced its preseason roster ahead of the club's second season in the Northern Super League (NSL).
Rise FC's preseason roster features 24 senior players, including 19 returning from last year's championship winning squad, and five new signings. The players returned to the National Soccer Development Centre last week, as the preparations for their NSL Champion title defense get underway.

Cowart, 26, has been a staple for the Philippines' backline, making 45 appearances since 2022. She most recently played every match for the Philippines in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games, where she helped the team claim their first gold medal after defeating Vietnam on penalties in the final. February 18, 2026 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Rise FC announced today that forward Holly Ward has been called up to the Canadian Women's National Team for the upcoming 2026 SheBelieves Cup.
Ward, 22, has been called up five times for Canada since her debut in April of last year, scoring twice and assisting once in seven games played. Ward last played for Canada in their Friendly series against Japan in Nagasaki last fall, playing the majority of both matches in Japan. "After a year away in Italy gaining valuable experience at AS Roma, one of the top clubs in the world, I am excited to bring Mia [Pante] back to Vancouver to shine in the NSL," said Rise FC Sporting Director Stephanie Labbé. "Mia is a fantastic addition to our team, and I am thrilled to bring her home to play in front of her home city."
