Byram's OT Heroics Help the Giants to a 5-4 Win over Tri-City

January 17, 2019 - Kennewick, WA - Fresh off being named both the WHL and CHL Player of the Week, Bowen Byram put together one heck of an encore. The 2019 NHL Draft prospect scored twice, including the overtime winner in a 5-4 road victory for the Vancouver Giants (27-12-2-0) over the Tri-City Americans (21-16-2-1). Davis Koch (1G, 2A), Jadon Joseph (2G, 1A) and Tristen Nielsen (2A) continued their strong play, combining for eight points while David Tendeck made 22 saves to earn the victory in goal. January 14, 2019 - Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants in conjunction with the Western Hockey League are pleased to announce that 2001-born defenceman Bowen Byram (Cranbrook, B.C.) has been named the WHL On the Run Player of the Week for the week ending January 13th. January 13, 2019 - Vancouver, B.C. - Saturday night in front of 4200-plus at the Langley Events Centre the Vancouver Giants (25-12-2-0) kicked off their 2019 home schedule with a 7-4 victory over the visiting Kamloops Blazers (15-22-2-1).
