Giants Down the Thunderbirds 7-1, Take a 1-0 Series Lead

March 23, 2019 - Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants have drawn first blood in their first-round playoff series with the Seattle Thunderbirds. Friday night at the Langley Events Centre in front of over 3500-strong the Giants downed the Seattle Thunderbirds 7-1. Dylan Plouffe paced the Giants with two goals and an assist while four other Giants recorded multi-point games. Bowen Byram Named a First Team Western Conference All-Star

March 20, 2019 - Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Giants in conjunction with the Western Hockey League are pleased to announce that 2001-born defenceman Bowen Byram (Cranbrook, B.C.) has been named a first team Western Conference All-Star for 2018-19. March 20, 2019 - Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants are pleased to announce that Head Coach Michael Dyck has been named the WHL's Western Conference Coach of the Year. The Western Hockey League announced all league award finalists for both the Western and Eastern Conference earlier this afternoon. You can find all award nominees here. Giants Snag a Single Point in Regular Season Finale in Kelowna

March 17, 2019 - Kelowna, B.C. - Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna the Vancouver Giants (48-15-3-2) dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Kelowna Rockets in their final regular season game of 2018-19. Mark Liwiski scored at 3:40 of overtime to extend the Kelowna Rockets season to at least Tuesday night. Justin Sourdif and Jadon Joseph responded with goals for the Giants who also got 32 saves from goaltender David Tendeck.
