March 16, 2019 - HOUSTON, TX - Vancouver Whitecaps FC fell 3-2 against Houston Dynamo in a wild match at BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday. The 'Caps started in a 3-4-3 formation for the first time under Marc Dos Santos. Two personnel changes were made to the starting lineup as Jake Nerwinski and Lucas Venuto were replaced by Derek Cornelius and Scott Sutter. The Dynamo opened the scoring on 15 minutes. March 9, 2019 - SANDY, UTAH - A first-half penalty kick resulting from a controversial whistle proved to be the difference on Saturday afternoon as Vancouver Whitecaps FC suffered a 1-0 defeat to Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium. Whitecaps FC Acquire Iraqi International Left Back Ali Adnan on Loan

March 9, 2019 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Saturday that the club has acquired Iraqi international left back Ali Adnan on loan through the end of June. Adnan is the first-ever Iraqi-born player in Major League Soccer. The 25-year old defender, who will return to his parent club Serie A side Udinese Calcio when the loan expires on June 30, is expected to arrive in Vancouver next week.
