Imports Postnov, Maier Added

June 28, 2018 - NORTH BAY, Ont. - The North Bay Battalion took Russian forward Egor Postnov and Austrian defenceman David Maier in the Canadian Hockey League Import Draft, conducted Thursday via the Internet. Left winger Postnov was selected with the 22nd overall pick after five teams ahead of the Battalion in the first round passed, their two-man import quotas full. The Battalion, embarking on its sixth season in North Bay, plays 34 home games, comprising 16 Thursdays, 11 Sundays, three Fridays, two Mondays, one Wednesday and one Saturday.
