June 13, 2026 - KINGSTON, Ont. - The Flint Firebirds welcomed 15 players to the organization via the 2026 OHL Priority Selection over the weekend, headlined by defenseman Chase Schulberger at number 15 overall. Firebirds Select Chase Schulberger with 15th Overall Pick

June 12, 2026 - KINGSTON, Ont. - The Flint Firebirds announced on Friday that they have selected defenseman Chase Schulberger with the 15th overall pick in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection. Schulberger played the 2025-26 season with the Woodbridge Wolfpack 15U AAA where he scored three goals and added eight assists over 15 games played. A native of Quakertown, Pa., he has been named to the USA Hockey National Team Development Program's Under 17 team for the 2026-27 season. Firebirds 2026 OHL Priority Selection Primer

June 12, 2026 - KINGSTON, Ont. - The 2026 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore, begins on Friday night at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston. The Firebirds hold a total of 15 picks, including the 15th overall selection in the first round. For the first time since 2000, the OHL will hold its annual draft live and in person with all 20 of the league's teams operating on the arena floor. Firebirds Sign Michigan Native Cooper Williams

June 11, 2026 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds announced on Thursday that the team has signed forward native Cooper Williams to a Standard Player Agreement. "I am super excited for this year with the Firebirds," Williams said. "I can't wait to start this season, for me nothing beats playing close to home as well. This should be an awesome year."
