April 16, 2025 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds made three picks at the 2025 Under-18 Priority Selection on Wednesday night. Flint took forward Chase Pettipiece with the eighth overall pick, goaltender Lucas Carpino with the 28th pick and forward Michael Pavlovic with the 45th pick. Pettipiece spent the 2024-25 season playing for the Elgin Middlesex Canucks U18 AAA and put up 26 goals and 22 assists in 35 games. Jimmy Lombardi Ranked 84th Among North American Skaters in NHL Central Scouting's Final Predraft Rankings

April 15, 2025 - FLINT - NHL Central Scouting released its final 2025 NHL Draft Rankings on Tuesday and Firebirds forward Jimmy Lombardi was ranked 84th among North American skaters. Lombardi appeared in 63 games for the Firebirds during the 2024-25 season and totaled 45 points on 13 goals and 32 assists. His 32 assists were the second-most on the team and his point total was tied for sixth among the Firebirds roster. April 12, 2025 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds welcomed 15 players to the organization via the 2025 OHL Priority Selection over the weekend, headlined by left wing Charlie Murata at number eight overall. April 11, 2025 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds made four selections during the first day of the 2025 OHL Priority Selection on Friday night, headlined by left winger Charlie Murata at number eight overall.
