Misa Honored at CHL Awards with Top Scorer Award

June 13, 2025 - Toronto, Ont. - One of the top prospects for the 2025 NHL Draft, Spirit forward Michael Misa was honored with the CHL Top Scorer Award at the CHL Awards on Friday afternoon. His 134 points were a single-season franchise record and made him the first player in team history to lead the Canadian Hockey League in scoring. First 'Rivalry Week' Matches Spirit and Firebirds in Home-And-Home

June 13, 2025 - Saginaw, Mich. - As the pieces of the OHL scheduling puzzle continue to fall into place, the league announced its matchups for the inaugural Rivalry Week on Friday. The Spirit will engage the Flint Firebirds in a home-and-home weekend on Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th. The Firebirds host the first game of this weekend series at the Dort Financial Center on October 18th at 7:00pm. Sunday's puck drop at the Dow Event Center is set for 5:30pm. Spirit to Meet Firebirds in September 20th Home Opener

June 12, 2025 - Toronto, Ont. - The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) announced Thursday morning each member team's home opening dates for the 2025-2026 season. The Saginaw Spirit will open play at the Dow Event Center against their in-state rival Flint Firebirds on Saturday, September 20th at 7:05pm.
