August 31, 2024 - Kitchener, Ont. - The Saginaw Spirit fell 4-3 via shootout to the Kitchener Rangers on Saturday night in the second game of their preseason showcase. Joey Willis scored twice, Michael Misa notched his second of the preseason, and Andrew Oke made 28 saves on 31 shots in regulation.
Joey Willis opened the scoring for Saginaw at 5:38 of the first period. Rookie Liam Campbell found Calem Mangone in the offensive zone, and the resulting pass to Willis became a shot between the legs of goaltender Jason Schaubel.

August 29, 2024 - Saginaw, Mich. - Spirit GM Dave Drinkill announced Thursday afternoon that four players have earned OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with the team. Forwards Brody Najim and Liam Campbell, Defenseman Blake Barnes, and Saginaw native goaltender Sammy DiBlasi each put pen to paper after impressive training camp performances.

August 20, 2024 - Saginaw, Mich. - In the first official event of the 2024-2025 season, the defending Memorial Cup Champion Saginaw Spirit invite their fans to training camp, August 26th-28th at the Dow Event Center. The 2024 training camp experience will be headlined by two Blue and White intrasquad games on Tuesday, August 27th and Wednesday, August 28th.
All on-ice training camp events, including the Blue and White games, are free and open to the public.
