December 17, 2025 - DETROIT - Detroit City Football Club (DCFC) announced today that it has re-signed head coach Danny Dichio to a new, guaranteed two-year contract, keeping him in the Rouge and Gold through the 2027 season with an option in place for 2028. Dichio's renewed commitment follows his initial two-year deal, which saw him lead Le Rouge to back-to-back postseasons as the fourth head coach in DCFC's men's senior team history. Detroit City FC Signs Defender Aedan Stanley

December 16, 2025 - DETROIT - Detroit City Football Club is pleased to announce today that defender Aedan Stanley has joined the club, signing a contract that will keep him in Rouge and Gold through 2027, with an option for the 2028 season. Stanley will wear the #3 jersey for Le Rouge. The deal is pending league and federation approval. Stanley joins Detroit City after spending the past two seasons with Eastern Conference side Indy Eleven. December 8, 2025 - DETROIT - Today, Detroit City Football Club announced that defender Shane Wiedt (Legacy #221) has retired from professional football. The native of Akron, Ohio, finishes his Detroit City career with 30 appearances for Le Rouge. Wiedt concludes his career with 171 appearances, recording six goals and five assists across all competitions over seven seasons. December 5, 2025 - DETROIT - Today, Detroit City Football Club announced that forward Alassane Ates Diouf (Legacy #224) has signed with the club, keeping him in the Rouge and Gold through the 2027 season with an option in place for 2028.
