AppleSox Drop Second Game of Series to Bells

July 15, 2018 - BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Despite a stellar pitching performance from Curtis Bafus, the Wenatchee AppleSox fell to the Bellingham Bells, 2-0, in a tight game on Saturday night at Joe Martin Field. Bafus matched a season-high with nine strikeouts and tossed six scoreless innings before allowing a couple runs with one out in the seventh inning. July 14, 2018 - BELLLINGHAM, Wash. - The Wenatchee AppleSox (12-18, 1-3 second half) dropped the series opener with the Bellingham Bells, 13-1, on Friday night at Joe Martin Field. July 13, 2018 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee AppleSox, (12-17, 1-2 second half) dropped the series finale to the Bellingham Bells, 10-4, on Thursday night at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium. Michael Spellacy (1-1) turned in a solid outing on the mound, allowing three runs (all unearned) in five innings, but the AppleSox could not get him the victory. July 11, 2018 - Behind a four-RBI game from Jacob Prater, the Wenatchee AppleSox (12-15, 1-0 second half) defeated the Bellingham Bells, 6-2, on Tuesday night at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium. Hunter Boyd picked up his second consecutive win in as many starts by allowing two runs, one earned, in six innings. Boyd finished a strikeout shy of matching his season-high of eight.
