July 29, 2025 - KELOWNA, BC - The Kelowna Rockets have announced that 20-year-old goaltender Rhett Stoesser has cleared WHL waivers and will not return to the team for the 2025-26 season.
Stoesser, a native of Cremona, Alberta, was acquired from the Red Deer Rebels in November of 2024 in exchange for a pair of WHL Prospects Draft selections. The 6-foot-2 netminder appeared in 26 games for the Rockets last season, posting a 5-19-0 record along with a 4.72 goals-against average and an .876 save percentage.

KELOWNA, BC - Hockey Canada has announced the 44-player roster for the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase, and two members of the Kelowna Rockets organization have earned invitations: forward Carson Wetsch and forward Tij Iginla.
The event will take place July 27 to August 2 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will serve as a critical evaluation opportunity ahead of the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, set to be hosted in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, this December.

July 15, 2025 - KELOWNA, BC - The Kelowna Rockets are proud to announce that captain Max Graham has signed his first professional contract, agreeing to a two-year deal with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Originally selected in the 5th round, 139th overall, by the New Jersey Devils in the 2024 NHL Draft, Graham's NHL rights were traded to Pittsburgh in March 2025 as part of a multi-player deal.

Leslie, who was acquired from the Vancouver Giants in May, has informed the organization that he will report to Kelowna for the upcoming season after deciding to decommit from his NCAA path with Bowling Green State University.
