Blazers Sign Import Goaltender Ivans Kufterins

July 16, 2025 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have signed 2007-born import goaltender Ivans Kufterins to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Kufterins was selected by the Blazers in the 1 st round, 13 th overall in the 2025 CHL Import Draft earlier this month. Kufterins is from Riga, Latvia and stands at 6'2" and 170lbs. He has played for HS Riga program for the past four seasons. July 2, 2025 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have selected 2007-born goaltender Ivans Kufterins in the first round, 13th overall and 2008-born forward Petr Tomek in the second round, 74 th overall in the 2025 CHL Import Draft. Kamloops Blazers Add to Hockey Operations

June 27, 2025 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have added to their hockey operations staff in a number of areas ahead of the 2025-2026 season. The hockey club has added Athletic Therapist, Taylor Cochrane to the team. Cochrane has spent the past three seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with Bonnyville and Camrose as the Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager. 2025-2026 Kamloops Blazers Schedule Released

June 24, 2025 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have announced their 68-game schedule for the 2025-26 WHL Regular Season. It will start on Saturday, September 20th with the Blazers hosting the Spokane Chiefs at 7:00pm at the Sandman Centre. The Blazers schedule includes 26 games on Friday and Saturday nights, two afternoon games, two games on Tuesday nights and four games on Wednesday nights.
