January 19, 2026 - The Rebels played three games this past week winning two of them to move back into a playoff spot in the WHL's Eastern Conference. Wednesday, Jan. 14 - Four different players scored for the Rebels in a 4-3 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the VisitLethbridge.Com Arena. Matej Mikes, Nate Yellowaga, Poul Andersen, and Cameron Varga each found the back of the net, while Matthew Kondro made 22 saves for his second-straight win. Rebels Acquire Defenceman Jiøí Kamas from Vees

January 8, 2026 - RED DEER - Red Deer Rebels Owner, President and General Manager Brent Sutter today announced that the club has completed a trade with the Penticton Vees. The Rebels have acquired 2008-born Czech defenceman Jiøí Kamas from the Vees in exchange for 2006-born Czech forward Samuel Drancak. Kamas appeared in 22 games for Penticton this season and has nine points (two goals, seven assists). Chadi Signs with Rebels

January 6, 2026 - RED DEER - The Red Deer Rebels are excited to announce that defenceman Noah Chadi has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the team. The 17-year-old appeared in two games for the Rebels last week and scored the game winning goal Saturday versus the Seattle Thunderbirds. Chadi, who is from Edmonton, AB, appeared in 26 games this season for the Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL) recording 13 points and 47 penalty minutes. Rebels Trade Milford to Penticton

January 5, 2026 - RED DEER - The Red Deer Rebels have completed a trade today with the Penticton Vees. The Rebels have traded 17-year-old forward Noah Milford to the Vees in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft. Milford recorded four goals and six assists for 10 points in 28 games with the Rebels this season. The Okotoks, AB native was selected by the Rebels in round seven, 150th overall at the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.... Full Story
