Weekend Ends with Loss to Wheat Kings

January 18, 2020 - The Brandon Wheat Kings scored four goals in four minutes and 15 seconds in the second period and went on to beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-0 Saturday at Mosaic Place. Both teams played well in the opening period.  They came up the ice fast on the attack and did a good job creating shots off the rush, and they were able to hunt down pucks for second opportunities. Warriors Push Late But Come up Short against the Cougars

January 17, 2020 - The Moose Jaw Warriors fought hard and came close to a late game-tying goal but they came up just short to the Prince George Cougars, falling 3-2 Friday at Mosaic Place. Early in the game and on the attack, the Cougar forwards were able to dig the puck away from the Warriors low in their zone and feed their defencemen for shots from the blueline. January 15, 2020 - A whirlwind past week continues for Moose Jaw Warriors goalie Brock Gould this week. Gould was acquired by the Warriors last Thursday in a blockbuster deadline deal with the Victoria Royals. January 14, 2020 - It is a homecoming and a dream come true for Moose Jaw's Nolan Jones. The 18-year-old defenceman was acquired by the Warriors as part of the team's blockbuster deal with the Victoria Royals ahead of the WHL trade deadline last Thursday.
