Raiders Name Ryan McDonald Interim Head Coach

March 10, 2025 - Prince Albert Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt announced on Monday that the club has named Ryan McDonald Interim Head Coach. Head Coach Jeff Truitt had been relieved of his duties, effective immediately. "This was a decision not made lightly," Hunt said. "We are appreciative of all the work Jeff has done, from our championship team to today. We wish him the best of luck as he moves forward." Raiders Acquire Kovacevic from Warriors

January 7, 2025 - The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 20-year-old forward Rilen Kovacevic from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for 20-year-old forward Krzysztof Macias, 17-year-old forward Luke Moroz, and a fourth round pick in 2027. Kovacevic is enjoying a career year in 2024-25. In 33 games so far this season, the Kelowna, BC product has scored 21 goals and added 19 assists for 40 points, leading Moose Jaw in scoring. Raiders Acquire Fabrizi from Rebels

December 31, 2024 - The Prince Albert Raiders and Red Deer Rebels made their second trade in three weeks with each other. On Tuesday, the Raiders acquired 19-year-old defenceman Matteo Fabrizi in exchange for 18-year-old defenceman Doogan Pederson, the rights to 2009-born forward Miller Robson, and a third round pick in 2025 (Swift Current). Head Coach Jeff Truitt Takes Leave of Absence for Medical Reasons

December 26, 2024 - The Prince Albert Raiders announce that head coach Jeff Truitt is taking a leave of absence due to medical reasons, and is expected to be gone for the next three to four weeks. Truitt underwent successful eye surgery just before Christmas. Assistant coach Ryan McDonald will take over as interim head coach while Truitt is away.
