December 27, 2025 - Spokane, WA - The Spokane Chiefs opened the second half of the season on Saturday night following the league-wide holiday break, taking on the Wenatchee Wild in front of a sell-out of 10,407 rowdy Spokane Chiefs fans. Saturday marked Assanali Sarkenov's first game for Spokane since November 8th and Dominik Petr's Chiefs' debut following a trade with Saskatoon earlier this month.
Less than a minute into the first period the Wild's Blake Vanek scored his 8th goal of the season with an assist from Riley Bassen.

December 27, 2025 - On Saturday night the Spokane Chiefs honored their most outstanding students from the fall quarter in a ceremony prior to their game versus the Wenatchee Wild. Throughout the course of the season, every Spokane Chiefs player is enrolled in either a high school, college, or English as a second language course of study.
All high school age players take online courses from their hometowns, and attend daily study halls every day prior to training and practice. College aged players attend an English 101 course at the Numerica ... Full Story
December 27, 2025 - Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs have added goaltender Justin Perreault (2007) to their roster as an Affiliate Player ahead of this weekend's games against the Wenatchee Wild.
Perreault, unsigned, joins the club on a tryout basis after playing 30 games for the Winnipeg Wild U18 AAA last season, where he logged a 1.65 GAA and .934 SV% on his way to eight shutouts. Perreault currently plays for the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL, with 12 games under his belt this season and a 2.43 GAA and .915 SV%.
