January 29, 2026 - Aequus Sports, LLC, the ownership entity of Spokane Velocity FC and Spokane Zephyr FC, has announced a partnership with MLS club Seattle Sounders FC and NWSL club Seattle Reign FC that will see both teams use ONE Spokane Stadium as a secondary home this Spring.
Seattle Reign FC will open its home conference season at ONE Spokane Stadium, hosting the following three matches:
Wednesday, March 25 at 6pm PT: Seattle Reign FC vs. Kansas City Current

The 26-year-old will join Spokane after playing four seasons with Richmond, where he started in 96 of his 106 appearances. Fitch led Richmond in minutes played for three straight seasons, helping lead the club to the USL League One Semifinals in 2022 as a rookie.

January 6, 2026 - Spokane, WA - Velocity FC has hired Neil Hlavaty as an associate head coach for the 2026 season.
Hlavaty comes to Spokane from Wisconsin, where he served as the head assistant coach for Forward Madison FC. In seven years with Forward Madison, Hlavaty helped the club reach the League One playoffs three times and the 2024 USL Cup Finals.
