Royals Select Marcus Almquist in CHL Import Draft

June 30, 2020 - Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are proud to announce the selection of 2003-born Danish forward Marcus Almquist, 27th overall, in the 2020 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Import Draft this morning. A native of Rodovre, Denmark, Almquist spent the majority of last season in Sweden's J18 Elit League, with the HV71 J18 team. Royals Make Trade with Broncos

June 30, 2020 - Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that the club has acquired the rights to unsigned defenceman Wyatt Wilson (2003) from the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for a conditional fifth round pick in the 2023 WHL Bantam Draft. A product of Swift Current, SK, Wilson spent last season with the Moose Jaw Warriors Under-18 AAA team of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL). June 24, 2020 - Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that defencemen, and signed prospects, Jason Spizawka and Kalem Parker have been invited to Hockey Canada's Under-17 Development Camp set for July 19-25. June 9, 2020 - Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals' 2019-20 regular season was acknowledged as the team concluded their award announcements last week via social media. Victoria announced 10 awards in total, one a week over 10 weeks, and celebrated the personal achievements of the players, both on and off the ice.
