June 12, 2025 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals have announced Brayden Beckley as the club's new Director of Scouting & Hockey Operations.
A Calgary, AB product, Beckley most recently served as the Royals' Head Scout following six seasons as a scout with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
"We are excited to have Brayden move into this expanded role with our hockey club," said Royals General Manager, Jake Heisinger. "Brayden is a hard-working, intelligent individual who will play a key role in the future success of our organization."

June 4, 2025 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals have announced their Home Opener for the 2025-26 WHL Regular Season. Victoria will open the year by hosting the expansion Penticton Vees at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre on Friday, September 19th at 7:05pm.
This will mark the first time that the newest team will play in the Western Hockey League after the WHL expanded to Penticton earlier this summer.

May 23, 2025 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals announced the signing of 2007-born defenseman Timofei Runtso to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The 6'2, 187 lbs. defenseman hailing from Marine del Ray, California, most recently played for the St. Cloud Norseman in the NAHL, putting up eight goals and 19 assists for 27 points in 53 games played. A product of the Los Angeles Jr. Kings AAA program where he scored 95 points (34 goals, 61 assists) in three years, Runtso is committed to playing Division 1 hockey at Miami Univ... Full Story
May 22, 2025 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals announced the signing of 2010-born defenseman Roan Greschuk to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The 5'10, 150 lbs. defenseman was drafted by the Victoria Royals 19th overall in the first round of the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. Hailing from Sturgeon County, A.B., Greschuk played this past season with St. Albert Sabres U15 AAA and tallied 46 points (14 goals, 32 assists) in 31 games played.
