Becker joins the Blades after spending the last three seasons as a scout with the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Columbus Blue Jackets prospect enjoyed an impressive sophomore Western Hockey League (WHL) season with the Bridge City Bunch posting a 22-13-4-1 record and 2.82 goals against average (GAA). The 6-foot-1 netminder's .911 save percentage (SV%) was fifth-best across the WHL, while his three shutouts were tied for fourth. Gardner boasts a 44-18-4-3 record, .917 SV%, and 2.46 GAA ... The 2007-born forward was drafted in the first round (40th overall) of the 2025 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Import Draft.

July 17, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatoon Blades are excited to announce the acquisition of 19-year-old defenceman Tristen Doyle, and a 2026 eighth-round pick from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for 2007-born forward Hudson Kibblewhite, and three Western Hockey League (WHL) Prospect Draft picks.
The picks leaving Saskatoon include a 2029 first-rounder, a conditional 2028 third-round selection, and a 2026 fourth-round pick.
