The Blades are sending '04 defenseman John Babcock to the Pats in return for a 4th round pick and a 6th round pick. Blades Hire Andrew Sarauer as Assistant Coach

July 25, 2024 - Saskatoon, SK. The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Sarauer as the team's new assistant coach. Sarauer will join newly named head coach Dan DaSilva and fellow assistant coach Wacey Rabbit behind the bench for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Molendyk & Budd Invited to Canada Summer Camps

July 16, 2024 - Saskatoon, SK - Saskatoon Blades defenceman Tanner Molendyk and rookie goaltender Ryley Budd have an opportunity to represent their country on the international stage. Molendyk has been invited to the Under-20 National Team summer camp while Budd will be vying for a chance to represent Canada at the 2024 U-17 World Challenge in Sarnia, Ont. DaSilva Promoted to Head Coach

July 15, 2024 - Saskatoon, SK. - The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce Dan DaSilva has been promoted to become the 19th head coach in franchise history. This move comes after Brennan Sonne accepted a position with Coachella Valley Firebirds of the American Hockey League. DaSilva, a 39-year-old native of Saskatoon, joined the Blades coaching staff prior to the 2021-22 season as an assistant coach.
