NHL Draft-eligible forwards Cooper Williams and Zach Olsen, along with defenceman Brayden Klimpke have been named to Team East for the inaugural Western Hockey League (WHL) Prospects Game. January 8, 2026 - Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatoon Blades have acquired a pair of Western Hockey League (WHL) draft picks from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for 2006-born defenceman Tyrone Sobry. The picks include a 2026 ninth-round pick and 2029 fourth-round selection.
The trade was completed shortly before the league's trade deadline on January 8.

December 9, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatoon Blades have acquired 19-year-old winger Elias Pul and 17-year-old defenceman Kaden Allen from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for overage centre Dominik Petr and a 2029 fifth-round pick.

December 4, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatoon Blades have acquired a pair of fifth-round picks from the Penticton Vees in exchange for 19-year-old goalie Ethan McCallum. The Western Hockey League (WHL) Prospect Draft picks include the Vancouver Giants fifth-round selection in 2026 and a conditional 2029 fifth-rounder.
