Former Captain Mike Green Announces Retirement

August 26, 2020 - Mike Green has skated his last stride in the NHL. In an article published in The Athletic, the former captain of the Saskatoon Blades announced his retirement after 15 seasons. Green was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, following his sophomore season with the Blades. He would go on to have a well-decorated and respected career with the Capitals, Detroit Red Wings, and lastly the Edmonton Oilers. Nolan Kneen Signs with ECHL's Allen Americans

August 25, 2020 - Nolan Kneen's hockey career is taking him state-side. The graduated assistant captain of the Saskatoon Blades has signed his first professional contract with the Allen Americans, and is expected to make his ECHL debut in early December. Kneen, a product of Duncan, BC, is a veteran of 310 career WHL games - 94 of which with the Pacman logo on his chest.
