April 8, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - The Western Hockey League (WHL) announced today Saskatoon Blades head coach Dan DaSilva is an Eastern Conference finalist for the Dunc McCallum Memorial Trophy as WHL Coach of the Year for the 2024-25 season. In his first season as head coach of the Blades, DaSilva led one of the youngest rosters in the league to 37-win campaign and 82 points, finishing sixth place in the Eastern Conference and third in the East Division. Blades General Manager Priestner Named Finalist for WHL Executive of the Year

April 8, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - Saskatoon Blades President and General Manager, Colin Priestner, has been named an Eastern Conference Finalist for the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Trophy, the Western Hockey League (WHL) announced Tuesday. The trophy is awarded to the league's executive of the year. This is the first time Priestner has been nominated for the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Trophy. April 3, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - Saskatoon Blades forward Cooper Williams has been named an Eastern Conference finalist for the 2024-25 WHL Rookie of the Year award. The Western Hockey League (WHL) announced the finalists for both conferences on Thursday. The nomination completes a stellar first year for the 2008-born centre.
