December 4, 2024 - Saskatoon, Sask. - The Saskatchewan Rattlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced their schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday, which is proudly presented by Tourism Saskatchewan. The 2025 Rattlers schedule will feature the largest number of games in a single season with the CEBL introducing a 24-game format. October 7, 2024 - SASKATOON, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have signed 28-year-old left-handed defender Evan Messenger to a one-year contract. Evan Messenger, Mike Messenger's cousin, has spent five seasons in the National Lacrosse League with Vancouver, San Diego and Panther City. October 7, 2024 - Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatoon Blades announced the release of 20-year-old netminder Austin Elliott on Monday. The Strathmore, AB product has been placed on 20-year-old waivers, cutting the Blades' overage player list to three. Captain Ben Saunderson, fellow defenceman Grayden Siepmann, and forward Brandon Lisowsky are the remaining 20-year-old players on the roster.
