May 25, 2025 - Buffalo, NY - The Saskatchewan Rush fell 15-6 against the Buffalo Bandits in game three of the 2025 NLL Finals presented by PlayNow, dropping the championship series 2-1.
Robert Church had a team high six points, while Austin Shanks finished as the playoff leader with 18 goals and 32 points.

In the first quarter, Jake Boudreau opened the scoring, followed by goals from Austin Shanks and Ryan Keenan as the Rush jumped out to a 3-1 lead.
Buffalo battled back in the second, but it was Keenan, Boudreau and Zach Manns who found twine as the two heavyweights sat tied 6-6 at recess.

The green machine jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Clark Walter and Levi Anderson, but it was Austin Shanks who scored with 3:48 left in the first quarter to make it 3-2 after 15 minutes.
In the second quarter, Brock Haley, Mike Messenger and Shanks found the back of the net, going punch for punch with the two-time defending champs from Western New York, tied 6-6 at half time.

May 14, 2025 - Saskatoon, SK - Saskatchewan Rush general manager Derek Keenan has won the National Lacrosse League's GM of the Year award.
"It's a credit to the whole group, right from top to bottom. The ownership support that I get here, the fact they trusted me with the plan that I've had the last couple years, I appreciate all that," mentioned Keenan. "Of course, it really comes down to the players and they've done their job."
