April 27, 2026 - Trencin, Slovakia - Western Hockey League skaters combined for eight points as Canada routed Norway 8-0 in their third match of the 2026 IIHF U18 World Championship.
Canada's second-youngest player, Brandon Wheat Kings star Jaxon Jacobson, came up big with two goals in his first appearance of the tournament, and OHL standout Dima Zhilkin netted a hat trick.

April 2, 2026 - With their season on the line, the Wheat Kings came out of the gate with their best start of the series so far. Little by little, however, the Hitmen ate away at the lead Brandon had built.
Grayson Burzynski and Chase Surkan scored, and Filip Ruzicka made 23 saves but it wasn't enough to save the Wheat Kings' season as they fell to the Calgary Hitmen 4-2.

March 31, 2026 - Another close game, this one in regulation, went against the Brandon Wheat Kings in Virden as they faced the Calgary Hitmen in game three of their first round series.
Luke Mistelbacher scored, and Filip Ruzicka was stellar again with 48 saves, but the Wheat Kings fell 3-1 with an empty netter. Eric Tu made 35 saves on 36 shots for Calgary.
