Hitmen End Wheat Kings' Season with Third Period Rally

April 2, 2026 - With their season on the line, the Wheat Kings came out of the gate with their best start of the series so far. Little by little, however, the Hitmen ate away at the lead Brandon had built. March 31, 2026 - Another close game, this one in regulation, went against the Brandon Wheat Kings in Virden as they faced the Calgary Hitmen in game three of their first round series. March 30, 2026 - The Wheat Kings overcame a tough start, took a third period lead, and ultimately saw another playoff game go to overtime in Calgary. And again, it ended in a heartbreaker.
