Hitmen Select Two Players in 2020 CHL Import Draft

June 30, 2020 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced the selections of forward Jonas Peterek and defenceman Alexei Garapuchik in the 2020 CHL Import Draft The 19-year-old Peterek will be making his return to Calgary after being selected by the Hitmen a year ago in the 2019 CHL Import Draft. As a rookie, he notched 16 points (8g, 8a) in 32 games with the Hitmen before a January trade to the Kelowna Rockets. May 13, 2020 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced the signing of 16-year-old forward Tristan Zandee to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. Zandee, a product of Airdrie, AB, was selected by the Hitmen in the second round, 36th overall, in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
