March 25, 2025 - Calgary, AB - Cavalry FC midfielder Charlie Trafford today announced his retirement from professional football ahead of the 2025 Canadian Premier League (CPL) season.
Trafford, 32, calls time on his playing days after an 11-year professional soccer career that saw him ply his trade in Finland, Poland, Scotland, and Wales, before returning to his hometown of Calgary to join Cavalry FC in 2022. Trafford also earned three caps with Canada Soccer's Men's National Team over the course of his career.

March 21, 2025 - Calgary, AB - Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) will have three matches featured on TSN in April following the announcement of a new partnership between OneSoccer and TSN.
The new partnership was first announced as part of Thursday night's coverage of the Concacaf Nations League Finals, presented by the Canadian Premier League, on OneSoccer and TSN. Further coverage of the CPL on TSN, which will feature OneSoccer's production on TSN channels, will be announced in the coming days.

Gherasimencov marks the ninth under-21 player to join the Cavs' 2025 roster. Since its inception in 2019, the club has established itself as one of the top environments for young players to develop and further their abilities in a professional landscape.
