Calgary Roughneck Announce 2024-25 Season Schedule

September 17, 2024 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced their 2024-25 National Lacrosse League regular season schedule. The home schedule kicks off on WestJet Field on Saturday, December 28th against the Vancouver Warriors at 7:00pm for the Home Opener party. The full schedule sees the Riggers take on some familiar opponents as well as new faces. Calgary Roughnecks Sign Multiple Free Agents

September 5, 2024 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks have begun the 2024 NLL free agency period by signing free agents Erik Turner and Matthew Abbott, as well as goaltender Cam Macleod to a two-year deal. MacLeod, a native of Georgetown, ON, joins the Roughnecks after spending two seasons with Panther City Lacrosse Club playing in 20 games with a .755 save percentage. Calgary Roughnecks Submit Franchise Tag, Qualifying Offers

July 29, 2024 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced that they have placed the Franchise Tag on goaltender Christian Del Bianco ahead of the 2024 National Lacrosse League free agency period. The 26-year-old Coquitlam native has played 8 seasons in Calgary and was eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Curtis 'Superman' Dickson Returns to Calgary Via Trade

July 11, 2024 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the acquisition of forward Curtis Dickson from the San Diego Seals, as well as a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NLL Draft, in exchange for the rights to transition player Zach Currier, the 14th pick in the 2024 NLL Draft, as well as Calgary's second-round pick in 2026.
