May 2, 2025 - When asked about his early hockey memories, Brandon Whynott recalls one that sticks out.
"I remember my first skating lesson I did I fell right on my bum and my dad was yelling at me to get up," he said. "I was able to get up and then I went and scored a goal, and I was really pumped up. My dad was a big influence on me becoming a hockey player."
Whynott's dad coached the Junior 'B' Ridge Meadow Flames and Brandon says he would often go to games and into the locker room to talk to the players.

April 30, 2025 - Kennewick, WA - The Tri-City Americans are very proud to announce that forward Max Curran has been named the winner of the Daryl K. (Doc) Seaman Memorial Trophy as the league's Scholastic Player of the year for the 2024-25 season. He is the first European player in league history to win the award.
Curran, from Prague, Czechia, led the Americans in scoring during his second season with the team, recording 74 points (22-52-74) in 65 games.

April 22, 2025 - Carter MacAdams always loved hockey as a child, but there came a time when he had to choose.
Juggling both hockey and baseball as a kid, he was faced with a dilemma on what sport he was going to focus on moving forward.
I was about five-years-old when I started playing hockey, and I was playing hockey and baseball back then, he said. Once spring hockey started to ramp up, it was a tough decision on whether to keep doing baseball or not. But I just loved the game of hockey, so I went all in on it.
