Tri-City Americans Name All-Decade Team

WHL Tri-City Americans December 30, 2020 - In celebration of the past ten years of hockey in the Mid-Columbia, the Tri-City Americans announce their All-Decade Team. Fans cast over 500 ballots last week to help us select the best Americans players from the past ten seasons. The top two goaltenders, 12 forwards, and six defensemen with the most votes were selected. Over the past decade seven Americans players have been selected in the NHL draft. Freer Signs with Tri-City

WHL Tri-City Americans December 16, 2020 - KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans General Manager Bob Tory announced today that 15-year-old Drew Freer has signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement with the club. Freer, a 5-foot-8 and 160-pound forward, currently plays with the NWCAA Stampeders U16 AAA of the AEHL. He has contributed six points (one goal and five assists) through two games played for the team. "Drew is a highly skilled offensive forward with a tremendous hockey IQ," said Tory.
