Kingsport Axmen Announce Naming Rights Deal with Ballad Heath
May 1, 2026 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Kingsport Axmen are proud to announce a new five-year naming rights partnership with Ballad Health, strengthening a shared commitment to community, wellness and the continued growth of baseball in the region. April 14, 2026 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Kingsport Axmen are excited to announce the coaching staff for the 2026 Appalachian League season, led by returning manager Rick Adair as he begins his third season in Kingsport.
Adair has guided the Axmen to playoff appearances in both 2024 and 2025, and was named the 2025 Appalachian League Manager of the Year after another strong summer in Kingsport. Kingsport Axmen Announce Return of Manager Rick Adair for 2026 Season
April 13, 2026 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Kingsport Axmen are excited to announce that Rick Adair will return as manager for the 2026 season, marking his third season leading the Axmen in Kingsport.
Adair has helped guide the team through two highly competitive seasons, bringing leadership, consistency and a strong culture to the clubhouse. Under his direction, the Axmen have continued to show growth on and off the field.

Kingsport Axmen Unveil 2026 Season Schedule
November 12, 2025 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Kingsport Axmen are excited to announce their 2026 Appalachian League schedule, featuring another summer packed with family fun, exciting baseball action and community events at Hunter Wright Stadium.
The Axmen will open the 2026 season at home Thursday, June 4, with a three-game series against the Burlington Sock Puppets. The 48-game regular season will run through July 30, with 24 home games and 24 road games split evenly across June and July.
