Kingsport Axmen Name Rick Adair Manager for 2024 Season
February 20, 2024 - KINGSPORT, TN - The Kingsport Axmen have announced that Rick Adair will be the Manager of the club for the 2024 season. Adair comes from an extensive baseball background, including being drafted in the 3rd round of the 1979 Major League Baseball draft by the Seattle Mariners. The Western Carolina alum coached at the MLB level for the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners, and most recently the Baltimore Orioles. January 18, 2024 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Boyd Sports, LLC has announced that Caleb Mills will be the general manager of the Kingsport Axmen. Mills spent the previous three seasons with the Tennessee Smokies as Food & Beverage concessions manager. A Pound, Va., native, Mills attended Alice Lloyd College where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. Mills also played three seasons as an outfielder for Alice Lloyd. Kingsport Axmen Unveil 2024 Season Schedule
November 16, 2023 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Kingsport Axmen have announced their 2024 baseball schedule. The Axmen will host their first home game June 7 against the new Appalachian League team in Huntington, W.Va. The 2024 Appalachian League season begins June 4 and runs through July 31. Kingsport's Ricky Reeth Named Appalachian League Pitcher of the Year
August 11, 2023 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The Appalachian League announced that Kingsport's Ricky Reeth (Notre Dame) was named the Pitcher of the Year.
