Northwoods League Softball Adds Grand Forks, ND for 2026

August 12, 2025 - Rochester, Minn. - Grand Forks will officially welcome the sixth Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) team to Albrecht Field in June 2026, kicking off a brand-new summer tradition built on high-energy family fun, sold-out crowds, and unforgettable community memories. August 9, 2025 - Hey Hot Tots and Honeybees fans, As we close the book on the 2025 season, there's a lot to be proud of- and even more to look forward to. Tonight the Hot Tots will finish the best half in franchise history. The second half of the season saw us play .500 baseball, set a new franchise home run record, earn two postseason All-Star selections, and suit up 10 Ironman players who played in 50+ games this season. Shayna Myshrall Named 2025 Honeybee of the Year

August 7, 2025 - It's an award that goes beyond batting averages, strikeouts and winning percentage. The Absolute Honey Honeybee of the Year award is given to the Minot Honeybees player that fully resembles what it means to play Northwoods Softball in the city of Minot. Night Mares Win Northwoods League Softball Championship

August 7, 2025 - Madison, WI - In a heart-stopping championship battle filled with clutch hits and late-inning heroics, the Madison Night Mares walked off the Minot Honeybees, 6-5, to win their first-ever Northwoods League Softball crown. Isabela Emerling (University of Oklahoma) started the scoring in the bottom of the first inning, with an RBI single to give the Night Mares a 1-0 lead.
