Lexi Godwin to Return as Night Mares Head Coach

January 12, 2026 - The Madison Night Mares are proud to announce that Head Coach Lexi Godwin is set to return for the 2026 season, marking her second year as Night Mares Head Coach. Godwin, a second-year graduate assistant at the University of Oklahoma, returns to Madison after etching the Night Mares into the Northwoods League Softball record books, winning the organization's first championship and logging a league-best 37-7 overall record. Mallards and Night Mares Announce Cru Concrete Club

December 3, 2025 - The Mallards and Night Mares are proud to announce a new partnership with Cru Concrete as the presenting sponsor of a new hospitality space at Warner Park, which will be home to three brand new dugout suites behind home plate, with booking available now for the 2026 season. The Cru Concrete Club will improve the field of play for softball games by creating a permanent backstop 25 feet behind home plate, which is standard for softball and replaces the previous temporary backstop fencing. Night Mares to Host Northwoods League Softball Inaugural All-Star Game

November 21, 2025 - The Madison Night Mares are proud to announce that the inaugural Northwoods League Softball All-Star Game will be held at Warner Park the weekend of July 11th, 2026. Northwoods League Softball will have six teams during the 2026 season. The All-Star teams will be composed of three teams each, members of the Madison Night Mares, La Crosse Steam, and the Wausau Ignite on one team, and players from the Grand Forks Spitfires, Mankato Habaneros, Minot Honeybees on the other. October 20, 2025 - The Madison Night Mares are proud to announce that the organization has been awarded additional Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) honors, sweeping in all team categories. The Night Mares were awarded Community Program of the Year for the Rally Cap Program, Theme Night of the Year for Pride Night, and Promotion of the Year for its Georgia O'Keeffe uniforms.
