BUFFALO, N.Y. - RJ Schreck's multi-hit performance and strong relief pitching from Adam Macko was too much to handle for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, pushing the Buffalo Bisons to a 4-1 victory on Wednesday afternoon at Sahlen Field. Former RoughRider Acosta Makes MLB Debut

FRISCO, Texas - Former RoughRiders infielder Maximo Acosta made his MLB debut with the Miami Marlins on Tuesday, August 19th in their game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Acosta is the ninth player whose name will be featured on the Road to the Show Wall presented by Avondale Dealerships in 2025. Acosta debuted as the second baseman for the Marlins and went 0-for-3 in the 8-3 loss to the Cardinals. ECHL Approves Expansion Membership for Augusta, Georgia

SHREWSBURY, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that the League's Board of Governors has approved the expansion application of Augusta, Georgia for admittance into the League. The club will begin play in the 2027-28 Season. The team, which will be named later, will be owned by 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, and former National Football League quarterback, Tim Tebow, along with David Hodges, CEO of Hodges Management Group, LLC.
