Baysox Bash Five Homers in Wednesday Rout of Curve
Bowie, MD - The Chesapeake Baysox, the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, had an offense that couldn't be contained Wednesday against the Altoona Curve, the Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, in a dominant 19-4 win.
On a season-high 15 hits, Chesapeake (12-16) scored its most runs in a game since April 6, 2024, and got a quality start from left-hander Sebastian Gongora to snap their six-game skid.

SeaWolves Strike Late to Push Streak to Seven
HARRISBURG, PA - Erie's late-game heroics continued in a 13-6 win over the Harrisburg Senators on Wednesday afternoon. The SeaWolves entered the seventh inning trailing by a run for the second straight game but scored 10 runs between the final three innings to break the game open and earn a seventh-straight win.
Lael Lockhart made his second start of the season with the SeaWolves and pitched five innings, surrendering four runs on seven hits before turning it over to the bullpen. Dariel Fregio and Tanner Kohlhepp closed things out with two innings each to cover the final four frames.

McCarthy Walks It off as Legends Win Wild 9-8 Thriller over Stormers
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Lexington Legends found a way yet again Wednesday afternoon at Legends Field, rallying late to defeat the Lancaster Stormers 9-8 in dramatic walk off fashion in front of a crowd of 3,200 during the club's second Education Day game of the season.
With the win, the Legends improved to 8-6 on the year and extended their current win streak to three straight games.

Pierce's Go-Ahead Double Leads RiverDogs Past GreenJackets 5-4
North Augusta, S.C. - After losing an early lead, the Charleston RiverDogs battled back to earn a 5-4 win over the Augusta GreenJackets on Wednesday afternoon at SRP Park.
Charleston jumped on the board first in the top of the third when Caden Bodine lined an RBI double to left to score Dean Moss and make it 1-0. Bodine finished the day with two hits, and now leads all of Single-A with a .402 batting average.
Later in the frame, Cooper Flemming brought Bodine home with an RBI ground out to first that pushed the lead to 2-0.
