Cougars Walk-Off Winners in Dramatic Game 1

AA Kane County Cougars Geneva, IL - It came down to the wire in Game 1 of the Miles Wolff Cup Finals between the Kane County Cougars and Sioux Falls Canaries. But when the dust settled on a rowdy night in Geneva, it was the Cougars storming the field in celebration after Marcus Chiu drove in Trendon Craig to take Game 1 of the Miles Wolff Cup Final 4-3. Lara Named Southern League Player of the Week

SL Biloxi Shuckers BILOXI, MS - Minor League Baseball announced today that Biloxi Shuckers outfielder Luis Lara has been named the Southern League Player of the Week. It marks the first weekly award of Lara's career and his first MiLB award since he was named a MiLB.com Brewers Organizational All-Star in 2023. Lara is the fourth Shuckers hitter to earn a weekly Southern League honor and the first since Garrett Spain on August 25. Racing's Game at Seattle to Resume Tuesday as DeMelo Recovers

NWSL Racing Louisville FC Racing Louisville FC's game at Seattle Reign FC will resume at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday behind closed doors at Lumen Field. The clubs will pick up play at the start of the second half with the score 0-0. Fans can watch on on NWSL+, the league's free digital streaming platform, and Paramount+. Originally started Sunday night, Racing at Seattle was abandoned after Louisville midfielder Savannah DeMelo experienced a medical emergency on the field.
