First-Half Champion Rox End Half with 10-4 Win

ROCHESTER, MN - The St. Cloud Rox (25-8) ended the first half of the season with a 10-4 victory over the Rochester Honkers (8-28) on Monday, and are first-half champions of the Great Plains West. At 25-8, the Rox finished the first half with the best record in the entire Northwoods League. St. Cloud took no time to find the scoreboard, taking a 2-0 lead in the first with help from a Carter Jorissen (Cal State Bakersfield) RBI single. Diamondbacks 1st Round Draft Pick JD Dix Joins Visalia

Visalia, CA - The 35th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks JD Dix joins the Visalia Rawhide after being promoted from the D-backs' Arizona Complex League team. According to MLB.com the infielder is ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the D-backs organization. Dix made his debut with the Rawhide on Sunday at Inland Empire starting at second base. He totaled his first MiLB full season hit on a line drive single in the fourth inning.
