First-Half Champion Rox End Half with 10-4 Win

Northwoods St. Cloud Rox ROCHESTER, MN - The St. Cloud Rox (25-8) ended the first half of the season with a 10-4 victory over the Rochester Honkers (8-28) on Monday, and are first-half champions of the Great Plains West. At 25-8, the Rox finished the first half with the best record in the entire Northwoods League. St. Cloud took no time to find the scoreboard, taking a 2-0 lead in the first with help from a Carter Jorissen (Cal State Bakersfield) RBI single. In the second, the Rox put up a crooked number with three runs scored, and saw Brenden Stressler (University of Michigan) record his first hit of the season... Full Story

Diamondbacks 1st Round Draft Pick JD Dix Joins Visalia

CalL Visalia Rawhide Visalia, CA - The 35th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks JD Dix joins the Visalia Rawhide after being promoted from the D-backs' Arizona Complex League team. According to MLB.com the infielder is ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the D-backs organization. Dix made his debut with the Rawhide on Sunday at Inland Empire starting at second base. He totaled his first MiLB full season hit on a line drive single in the fourth inning. BASEBALL National Alliance of College Summer Baseball: The 12 summer-collegiate baseball leagues that are members of the NACSB started their 2025 seasons in late May and early June. The NACSB is sanctioned by the NCAA and the non-profit leagues receive some funding from Major League Baseball.
