Weinert, Braun Sign with Zephyr FC Ahead of Spring Season Opening
January 24, 2025 - When the USL Super League season resumes next month, two key members of Spokane Zephyr FC will have graduated from "on loan" to "under contract." McKenzie Weinert, who had been on loan from Seattle Reign of NWSL, and Sophia Braun, formerly of NWSL's Kansas City Current, both became full-time Zephyr players over the league's winter break. January 22, 2025 - Brooklyn, N.Y. - Brooklyn Football Club (Brooklyn FC) forward Isabel Cox announced her retirement from professional soccer on January 22, deciding to step away from the field to pursue other opportunities. Cox has been a key contributor to Brooklyn FC during the first half of its inaugural USL Super League season. She appeared in all 14 matches, starting seven and accumulating 791 minutes on the field.
