March 7, 2025 - TAMPA, Florida - Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily Mayfield's foundation, the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation, announced today the launch of the 2025 Giving Bowl event, which begins today and runs through March 28.The Mayfield's will be joined by five Tampa Bay area athletes from the Buccaneers, Lightning, Rays, and Sun FC to help raise awareness, funds, and support for different charities impacting Tampa. Sun and Gotham FC Face off in Tampa Bay's First-Ever Cross-League Match

March 3, 2025 - Tampa, FL - It was an impressive first crossover league match for the Tampa Bay Sun as they welcomed Gotham FC to Riverfront Stadium in Downtown Tampa. The Sun fell just short of a win, after Gotham FC took the victory in a penalty kick shootout. The Sun were able to come back after an early 1-0 lead by Gotham FC and score to tie it at 1-1 heading into halftime. Sun Claim a Point Against League-Leading Brooklyn FC

February 22, 2025 - Tampa, FL - Tampa Bay Sun FC scored first, but Brooklyn FC came back to tie the game with a final score of 1-1 in a tough battle at Riverfront Stadium in Downtown Tampa. This is the fifth straight home game without a loss for the Sun. The Sun took an early 1-0 lead against the first place Brooklyn FC into the locker room at the break.
